We’re Green Arrow Consultancy, an Australian tourism consultancy based in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, led by Nikki Giumelli an industry professional with more than 20 years experience spanning tourism operations, sustainability, strategy and education.

We work with industry, operators, destination management organisations, educational institutions and government to design and deliver projects that strengthen Australia’s tourism ecosystem across business advisory and destination development to sustainability and workforce capability.

Our strength lies in bridging strategy and practice. Having founded, scaled, and sold several marine tourism businesses, we understand the realities of operations, leadership, and building visitor experiences that stand the test of time. That real-world insight underpins everything we do: practical, informed, and outcomes focused.

Over the years, we’ve operated and supported tourism businesses around the globe — including Vanuatu Jet Boat in Port Vila, Oz Jet Boating in Sydney and Darwin, and collaborations with operators across the South Pacific, Singapore and Phuket. These experiences have strengthened our ability to navigate diverse regulatory frameworks, cultural expectations and destination environments, giving us a global perspective on tourism operations and growth.

We love living in the tropics and regional Queensland, where community and environment sit at the heart of tourism’s story. From Cairns, we continue to consult across Australia, bringing the same local understanding and national perspective that comes from years spent living and working in Sydney and other key tourism regions.

Located in the lush hills behind Edge Hill and Whitfield, the Green Arrow Walking Track is part of the Arrow Trails Network, a series of iconic hikes overlooking the city of Cairns. The Green Arrow is known for its tropical rainforest setting, steep climbs, and sweeping views of the Coral Sea, a perfect reflection of the region’s beauty, resilience, and diversity. For us, the trail embodies everything our consultancy stands for: direction, focus, and forward momentum, while staying grounded in nature and community.

Lead consultant Nikki works collaboratively with other businesses, leaders and organisations in Far North Queensland and At Green Arrow Consultancy, our goal is simple: To help tourism thrive for people, for place and for the future.
